Dana and JP came into my life after I shot a friend’s wedding. I didn’t know at the time that there was a girl in the bridal party that was engaged and looking for a wedding photographer. She had no hesitation telling me that, “I want you”. Can I tell you how amazing that feels as a person, let alone a wedding photographer who pours her heart into all that she does? It brought me so much joy to book their wedding and put it on my calendar. Little did we know the year of 2020 would come and we all know how that went over. 2021 let’s make this a better year please! I mean, how could it get any worse really? Anyways, unfortunately Dana and JP found themselves needing to make one of the hardest decisions when it comes to their wedding date. They had to postpone. These two have so much love and a beautiful story, I wasn’t surprised when they told me that they’ve decided to elope. They are from the Hudson Valley but moved down to North Carolina for a job and their continued education. The plan was to come back up to New York and elope. Due to the ever evolving changes we faced this year they ultimately decided traveling to New York wasn’t the best plan. They decided to book the most beautiful AirBnB in Virginia, a perfect natural backdrop for an elopement. When they asked me to come along with them and photograph this, it was such an easy decision. I would do it 1,000 times over again. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Parker!
